My final piece installation for AS-Level Fine Art, exploring the theme of "Covert & Obscure" which I looked into the obscurities found in childhood.
Hand cut illustrations from Helen Oxley's "Alice in Wonderland" book along with my own drawing of a mushroom and origami dragons. The book was placed in a mosquito net where origami flying creatures were hung from the top, along with some edited images of the origami pieces hanging on acetate and matt paper. Balloons were placed behind the book to add to the childhood theme and fairy lights circling the book. All of which was set upon a thick creamy-white blanket.
